Objective: Dispatch all enemy aircraft in egress from the theater of operation to the Islamic Republic of Iran. Background: As a result of successful cruise missile attacks and bomber strikes against Iraqi air defenses, coalition forces are quickly winning the battle for air superiority in the southern portions of Iraq. A clear indication of this is the massive defensive reallocation of military assets being attempted by the Iraqis. In this case they are moving some of their Russian made MiG-21 fighters and Mi24 Hind helicopters out of harms way to Iran. イラク防空網に対する巡航ミサイル攻撃と爆撃の結果、連合軍はイラク南部でいち早く航空優勢を得ている。イラク人が軍事資産防衛のため、大規模な再配置を試みているのは明白だ。今回は、イランへロシア製ミグ-21戦闘機とMi24ハインドヘリコプターを移動させている。 The MiG-21 is a short-range fighter/interceptor aircraft designed and primarily built in the Soviet Union. During the Vietnam War, MiG-21s were often used against U.S. aircraft. At least 15 versions of the MiG-21 have been produced, some outside the Soviet Union. Estimates place the number built at more than 8,000, a production total exceeding that of any other modern jet aircraft. The aircraft has mid-fuselage mounted delta wings with small square tips. There is one turbojet inside the body. There is a small round air intake in the nose and a single exhaust. The fuselage is a long, tubular body with a blunt nose and bubble canopy. There is one belly fin under the rear section and a large dorsal spine flush with the canopy. The tail fin is swept-back and tapered with a square tip. -Tomahawk cruise missiles were launched from Coalition ships and submarines. -Iraqi military attacked American military units with artillery and ballistic missiles. -Iraq launched surface-to-surface missiles aimed at targets in Kuwait. -British and American marines captured the port town of Umm Qasr. -H3 airbase was occupied by Coalition forces.	― トマホーク巡航ミサイルが連合軍の艦船および潜水艦から発射された。 ― イラク軍は砲と弾道ミサイルでアメリカ軍を攻撃した。 ― イラクは、クウェートを標的にした地対地ミサイルを発射した。 ― 英国とアメリカの船舶は、Umm Qasrの港町を押さえた。 ― H3 空軍基地は連合軍に占領された。

ゲームメモ：

　SAMが2つでる。一応SEADに他の機が出ているんだけど、面倒なのでHARMを積んでいこう。ミサイルもたっぷり。

　会敵までには結構時間がかかる。コマンド+Fで速回し。レーダーに敵機がでたところで通常速度に戻す。最初に出てくる護衛3機を片づけたら、後は空輸中の機体だけなのでターキーシュートになる。ずっと遅れてくるヘリは僚機に任せておけばよい。

War Story

　空母ランチで出撃。TACANにしたがってしばらく飛ぶとレーダーに反応が出る。先行しているSEADと混同しないように慎重にIFFをうってからミサイルを選択する。レーダーの機影のうち、3機編隊が先行しているし、コースも後続機と違う。これが護衛だ。長距離からAMRAAMで2機を料理し、残りは接近してからAIM-9。後続のFLEETを片づけてから反転すると、さらに後ろについていたヘリがレーダーに入る。こちらにはすでに僚機がかかっているので、黙ってみていればいい。

　ミッションコンプリートが報告され、E65に取って返す。今度はちゃんと一発で着艦できた。
